Awards and Recognition

Over the years, NAFA has received various accolades from NTUC and Education Services Union (ESU) in recognition of our efforts and contributions towards employees’ welfare, good labour-management relations and NTUC initiatives.

In April 2021, NAFA has been ranked #116 among the list of Top 200 Singapore’s Best Employers 2021 in the second edition of the survey. The ranking was based on a broad and comprehensive research comprising over 1,700 companies across 26 industries and 200,000 employee evaluations.

Charity Transparency and Governance Awards 2019

NAFA is one of the charities that received the Charity Transparency Award at the Charity Transparency and Governance Awards 2019 on 3 December 2019. This award acknowledges good governance and recognises charities with good disclosure practices.

May Day Awards 2019 - Plaque of Commendation (Gold)

NAFA was accorded the Plaque of Commendation (Gold) – a top-tier award for organisations, which have consistently made significant contributions towards promoting and supporting Labour Movement initiatives.

Tripartite Alliance Award 2018

NAFA President received the Special Mention Award - Transformational Leader in Action. This is in recognition of his steering efforts in transforming the workplace through people-centric practices.

May Day Award Medal of Commendation

NAFA President received the Medal of Commendation at NTUC May Day Awards ceremony. This is in recognition of his contributions towards good labour-management relations, workers’ welfare and NTUC initiatives.

Best Companies for Mums

Won the “Best Supervisor” Award for having made a positive difference to the daily lives of working Mums.

National Steps Challenge 2018 Industry Winner Award

NAFA has been accorded the Industry Winner Award under Education Sector for the National Steps Challenge Season 3 Corporate Challenge. This is in recognition of our colleagues’ efforts in clocking more than 10,000 steps a day!

ESU Pink Heart Award

NAFA received the ESU Pink Heart Award in 2015 - in recognition of the Academy’s contributions towards good labour-management relations.

Corporate Excellence Award

In view of our holistic and continued efforts aimed at creating a health-promoting workplace environment, NAFA received the Corporate Excellence Award in 2017.

Silver Health Award

Also, in recognition of our commendable efforts in promoting a healthy workplace, NAFA first received the Silver Award in 2012.

Plaque of Commendation in May 2013

In recognition of the positive contributions to the Labour Movement in engaging its staff on issues such as benefits and professional development, NTUC presented NAFA with the Plaque of Commendation in 2013.
