Carlysley began her interests toward spatial and interior design at a very young age. Fascinated by various building forms and structures, she believes that a space holds an important role in creating a better living.
She started her education in Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 2013, graduating with a diploma in interior and exhibition design in 2016. During her studies, Carlysley was awarded the ‘Tan Chay Bing Merit Award’ and the ‘NAFA Merit Award’ in two consecutive years. She won "Colour Harmony Award' in Nippon Paint Young Designer 'Design With Heart' 2015 Competition.
Believing in what Confucius said “Choose what you love and you will never have to work a single day”, her passion has made her strive beyond her comfort zone to explore more of herself.
