Afiqah Samad (b. 1996, Singapore) has been passionate in art at an early age where she observed her Art teachers demonstrating how colours work together. Afiqah works predominantly in the medium of oil painting, that includes mostly portraits of her family members. She enjoys doing portraits of people, catching their expression at the right moment and using her own interpretation of colours to express the emotions of the subject. Afiqah experiments with many different techniques, and mediums, to create a dynamic work.
