Masterclass by Stuttgart Ballet

One of the world's most renowned dance companies, Stuttgart Ballet, returned to Singapore with its Stuttgart Ballet in John Cranko’s Romeo and Juliet performance in October 2017.

Ahead of the performance, eleven advanced Ballet students from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts’ Dance Programme had the privilege of taking a masterclass by Stuttgart Ballet. During the 1.5-hour session, ballet master, Krzysztof Nowogrodzki (Director, Production of Stuttgart Ballet) guided the students on the precise execution of ballet technique in exercises at the ballet barre and centre work.

The first-hand coaching by Stuttgart Ballet was made possible for NAFA students and as part of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) of The Connoisseur Concerto and Robert Timms® to foster the cultural exchange between Stuttgart and Singapore.
