Teo Kim Liong

张金隆

Born in 1938 in Johor, Malaysia, Teo Kim Liong graduated from NAFA in 1956 with a Diploma in Western Art. He went on to do a physics degree at NUS, and was a Research Scholar at Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing between 1994-95. He went on to do a physics degree at NUS, and was a Research Scholar at Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing between 1994-95. He obtained a Master of Fine Art degree at Slade School of Fine Art University College, London in 1998. He worked for a few years in the administrative service of the government and for close to 3 decades, held senior engineering, marketing and managerial positions with IBM before turning full-time to art in 1994.

This work was featured in the exhibition Reflections in Nanyang. Donated by the artist, Teo Kim Liong for Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Collection.
