Courses

If you embark on a musical career and find it doesn’t suit you, don’t worry. By training as a musician, you will have developed a range of skills which employers value, such as self-discipline, teamwork and communication.

A recent (UK) survey has shown that music graduates are among the least likely to be unemployed. This is not because they all become professional musicians. Many successfully persue other careers, such as accountancy, the civil service or the voluntary sector.

Just remember - “a music degree is as good a qualification as any for the Stock Exchange.” So you will not constrain yourself by studying music - and you will certainly enrich your life.
