Our reference services include:
- Assisting students and staff in locating library books/periodicals or information on the web.
- Demonstrating the use of the library's online catalogue (OPAC).
- Demonstrating the use of Oxford Reference Online and Grove Music Online, two databases subscribed by the library.

| Corporate/institutional membership
The NAFA Library has a corporate membership with the National University of Singapore (NUS) Libraries, which allows full-time NAFA faculty to visit the NUS libraries and borrow a maximum of 3 books each. Full-time faculty must collect the NUS Libraries' corporate membership card from the library's Circulation Counter before making the trip.
The NAFA Library has an institutional membership with the National Library, which permits the former to borrow reference books from the Lee Kong Chian Reference Library at Victoria Street. Faculty who require this service should email yllim@nafa.edu.sg with the title and author of the book. The NAFA Library will then arrange for the books to be picked up. |

| When the journal article you want is not available at the NAFA Library, we can acquire it for you from another library or information provider.
This service is open to faculty and students in Bachelor or Master programme. As the NAFA Library allocates an amount of its budget for this service, each eligible requestor is assigned a proportion of this. Once the eligible requestor's allocation has been spent, the costs must be borne by him or her.
