NAFA has shared a special relationship with Japan for some years now. The rich heritage of Japan in the arts and culture has much to offer for the new generation of art practitioners today, whether they be performing artists or visual artists, or even fashion designers. In this 5th official collaboration with support from Embassy of Japan and the new Japan Creative Centre at the Japanese Association Singapore, Noh Performers come to NAFA to share their unique craft. With a lecture and demonstration that incorporates interactive elements that will allow audience members to participate, this specially tailored event will feature Kyogen and Noh Theatre, including 4 members of the prestigious Terai family, among the 13 performers on site at NAFA.
Co-organised and supported by the Japan Creative Centre with special support from the Embassy of Japan, Singapore.

This concert marks the return of Poom Prommachart, who returns to perform at NAFA, his alma mater. After pursuing his tertiary music education at NAFA in Singapore, Poom was awarded a scholarship to study at the Royal College of Music and he continues to build a formidable reputation in England. Top accolades include first prizes in UK's Conservatoire Piano Competition and ESO Young Soloist Competition in 2009. He was also named the best student at RCM last year.
Sharing the same platform in this concert are some of our current piano prodigies such as Zhao Yang Ming Tian, Wang Haijie and Nguyen Tien Khai.

In a similar vein, our recent travels have jolted us out of the familiar and brought us face-to-face with the strange and unusual.
