“The Trojan Women” is brought to you by Year 3 English Drama students.

Acclaimed Director, John Clark, the long serving Head of the prestigious drama school , N.I.D.A in Australia, puts a Southeast Asian spin on this ancient classic, setting it locally, during the Pacific War. The Trojan Women is a 2500-year-old tragedy by Euripides, adapted by John Barton. Produced during the Peloponnesian War, it is often considered a commentary on the capture of the Aegean island of Melos and the subsequent slaughter and subjugation of its populace by the Athenians earlier in 415 BC. The Trojan Women was the third tragedy of a trilogy of dealing with the Trojan War.
