| The Artists-in-residence programme offers students another performing opportunity by exposing them to established practitioners in the industry. Not only does it provide variety in terms of teachers and repertoire, it is also a benchmark as the students will be engaged in works that are of high technical and artistic calibre. Working with such artists on an extended basis also enables the students to inculcate valuable professional work ethics. Larry Clark, a well-known member of Faculty from Purchase College will conduct classes and teach a repertory piece to NAFA students. Observers are welcome (by appointment). |

| Dancers @ Work aims to provide a platform for students to perform in showings of works done by visiting Artists-in-Residence, and explore and let their own choreographic ideas take flight. These informal affairs held in the Studio Theatre (Black Box) / C6-38 will not only give students more opportunities to perform, they will also enable the public to get to know the exciting developments in the Department of Dance and its programmes. This is an opportunity for all involved to participate in the creative process that is dance. This particular segment will showcase a work-in-progress from the Purchase Residency. |
