NAFA Collection

As part of the 70th Anniversary celebration and in honour of our founding principal, Mr. Lim Hak Tai, NAFA will be launching the portrait sculpture by his son, Mr. Lim Yew Kuan. The bronze statue will be located at NAFA Campus 1. To be officiated on 4 March 2009 by Dr Lee Boon Yang, MICA Minister, this event will take place in conjunction with the renaming of NAFA Gallery 3 to "Lim Hak Tai Gallery" and the official opening of the exhibition Lim Hak Tai: Quintessential Nanyang.

The commemorative exhibition will showcase over 50 artworks of oil, acrylic, and Chinese ink, by Mr. Lim Hak Tai. The works come from both NAFA's collection, as well as a much appreciated loan from Lim Yew Kuan especially for this event.
