Distinguished Purchase Dance Conservatory faculty such as Ted Kivitt, a former dancer with American Ballet Theatre, will provide students with another performing opportunity. Not only do these artists provide variety in terms of teachers and repertoire but they set a benchmark standard for our students who will be engaging in works of high technical and artistic calibre. Working with such artists on an extended basis also enables students to develop valuable professional work ethics.

Quarterly networking session for staff and students from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), Singapore Management University (SMU) and Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP). It is aimed at a brainstorming meeting for ideas in digital entertainment with a combination of their strength in business, marketing, art & design competencies and interactive design methodologies. Together the three institutions have been appointed as Mentor bodies to propose and implement projects related to the IDM sector.
Dancers @ Work serves as a platform for students to perform works by visiting artists, explore their own choreographic ideas and let them take flight. It enables the public to know about the exciting developments in the Department of Dance and its programme and at the same time provides an opportunity for all involved to participate in the creative process that is Dance.
A 3-day event where students, parents and the public interested in arts education get to view the works of NAFA students, interact with NAFA lecturers and tour our campus facilities. Event highlights include exhibitions, concerts, classroom sit-ins, guided tours and career talks. It is the best time to find out more about NAFA’s various diploma and degree programmes.
