“An Evening of Sizhu Classics” [丝长竹青] Embark on an entrancing journey of Chinese Sizhu aural culture with an inspiring evening of familiar classics, featuring a myriad of authentic Chinese folk tunes – ranging from the intensity of ‘Shi Mian Mai Fu[十面埋伏]’played on solo pipa to the graceful ditty of the ‘Zi Zhu Diao[紫竹调]’ played on string and bamboo instruments of the Chinese tradition.

The NAFA Symphonic Wind Ensemble, conducted by Richard Adams performs a concert of traditional "bandstand" favourites. In the other half of the concert, the NAFA Percussion Ensemble explores the pop/rock idioms; spanning the genres of bluegrass, rock samba, Japanese pop, and heavy metal.
