Directed by Nancy Yuen and accompanied by the NAFA Orchestra under the baton of Volker Hartung, Opera Scenes will feature excerpts from Puccini’s “La Boheme”, Bizet’s “Carmen” and Britten’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, in original language and full costume.
Nanyang - 70 Years After: A Reunion of Artists in the Academy
An exhibition and fundraising event, Nanyang - 70 years after will showcase recent works by NAFA’s illustrious Singaporean and Malaysian alumni. These works will be on sale to raise funds for the academy. Over 80 artists will participate in this important event, a showcase of dedication in art-making to mark NAFA’s 70th anniversary celebration in the year 2008.
