| The Department of Dance has been invited to participate at the Open House of the NUS Museum. This invitation is timely since the NUS Museum’s contemporary Asian focus resonates with the Department’s own inclination towards contemporary Asian explorations. Two students’ work will be featured: 1) “In The Ashes” by Leong Jian Hao is a mood piece about a man torn between two women in his life, 2) “Shaman’s Cat” by Edwin Wee deals with the world of the paranormal where predictions can sometimes come with a price. These two pieces have developed from the third-year Composition class that forms part of the Creative modules of the Dance curriculum. |
