A veteran artist and highly-respected calligrapher, Chang Sow Yam presents close to 50 of his recent works that exemplify the traditions of Chinese ink painting and calligraphy. A master of all forms of the Chinese script and seal carving, Chang exhibits actively in the local and Yeung Ching Alumni and this exhibition is a tribute to his enduring passion for excellence in this classical art form.

The best of contemporary Australian jewellery and metalwork art by the country’s most celebrated practitioners known for their innovative use of design in recyclable materials, technology and Australian aesthetics. This exhibition is presented by the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and RMIT Gallery with support from the Australian High Commission, and coincides with Singapore Design Festival in November 2007.

A reflection of a decade of outstanding work, Drawing Breath showcases selected works by award winners (1994-2005) from The Jerwood Drawing Prize, a UK-based annual open drawing competition exhibition that promotes and rewards within the UK and Australia. This unique event is presented for the first time in Singapore by the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.
