| “Juxtaposition” is the theme and title for this year’s dance graduation performance and will be presented on 2 & 3 February 2006 at the NAFA Studio Theatre. This exciting showcase of new works is a fruition of the students’ exploration of their choreographic ideas and new movement. Be prepared to journey into friendships, love and betrayal and even alien vistas! Politics and humour combine to contrast the students’ Asian roots with their Western dance techniques. Come and be entertained by our talented young choreographers of tomorrow! |

| Yu Yun, single and still in her 20s, moves into her own luxurious (but reputedly haunted) apartment. Soon, Hong Yang, the ‘man of her life’ proposes to her and life could not be running more smoothly. Then, a box of canned food appears at her door and someone calling herself ‘Venus’ enters Yu Yun’s life. Most of all, the guy next door starts giving her feelings she has never known. (Performed in Mandarin) |

| Presented by the Gallery Department of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Escape Clause is a visual art showcase of 13 artists who are currently members of teaching faculty and staff of the most established art academy in Singapore. Comprising photographers and painters, the roll call includes Boo Sze Yang, Ivan Chan, Chiew Sien Kuan, Miguel Chew, Chng Keng Beng, Hong Sek Chern, Simon James, Jian Yao, Lim Soo Ngee, Francis Ng, Sim Kok Huoy, Tan Chwee Seng and Terence Yeung, presenting their recent works for exhibition. |

| Masters in the making in their chosen field, their role as artist remains on par with all that must be exemplary. To demonstrate excellence is not only to impart foundational skills resident in their medium and practice, but to embody and ultimately manifest the values of diligence, research and innovation. They remain an inspiration among their peers and continue to invigorate the art history and practices of Singapore. |

| CMYK is an event organised by NAFA Designer Club, managed by our Visual Communication Programme. The event consists of a day educational trip to the printing house and an exhibition one word. The objective is to gather fellow designers to appreciate the art and technical aspect of printing, colour separation, digital imaging and etc. As well as an opportunity for them to explore creativity in design for print; they would apply and share what they have learnt/observed during the trip by using various paper stocks, colours, printing methods into creative pieces of work. |
