Featuring the recent donation of Lim Tze Peng's 45 chinese ink works to the NAFA Collection, this exhibition showcases a modest display of picturesque Parisian streetscenes and monuments such as the Eiffel Tower. These paintings were created during his stay at academy's artists' apartments in Paris in the year 2000.

Featuring Australia's most exciting contemporary photographers, including Tracy Moffatt and Pat Brassington, the exhibition examines the notion of artificial fabrication in photo-based media, the way photography can be haunting, mysterious and even chilling. Curated by Natalie King of Asialink, NAFA is proud to partner the Australian High Commission in presenting the travelling exhibition in conjunction with the Singapore Arts Festival.

Li Cassidy-Peet is an artist from London, living now in Singapore who will be talking about her work in mixed media from experimental/innovative large scale drawings, installation and video in contemporary art practice concerned with human behaviour from large scale demolition in urban space and its effects from displacement and loss, life, death and war to a site-specific drawing residency on sub culture.

This concert features Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker (Suite)” on four hands by 14 outstanding young pianists aged 7-12 years and another famous work, “The Seasons Op. 37” by 12 soloists aged 9-12 years for each month, accompanied by recitations of 12 poems.

Watch 13 prodigies work their magic on the keyboard in this concert for four-hands. Aged from 12-17 years, the performers are students of NAFA’s Gifted Young Pianists Course. The highlight of the concert is a rendition of “The Yellow River Concerto” and “Mendelssohn Concerto” by Shin Zi Yang, winner of the Piano Intermediate Category in the 2005 National Piano & Violin Competition.
