Kenneth Tan Kar Han (right) received a Special Award Certificate at the Marina Bay Bridge Art Competition Awards Ceremony on 16 September 2006 from Mr Alan Chan, Chairman of the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA).
The URA-organised art competition is part of the implementation programme for the new bridge at Marina Bay, which will be the site for Singapore's very first art park. Selected artworks from the competition will be showcased in the park. The competition attracted 136 entries from youths aged 8-28. Kenneth Tan, a Year 3 student from our Diploma in Environmental Design programme, was honoured for his floor art 'EmoLightscape'.
