| Term 1 Module 1 - Digital Media Design 1 (3hr-session x 10 weeks) |
| Student will learn the basic skills of digital illustration using vector based software such as Adobe Illustrator to create and transform their creative ideas into sophisticated graphics for use in print and any dynamic media. |

| Term 1 Module 2 - Digital Media Design 2 (3hr-session x 10 weeks) |
| To equip students with a competent understanding of Adobe Photoshop as well as digital imaging artistry skills and knowledge. Students will be able to combine these knowledge and execute their ideas from scratch to finish art pieces. |

| Term 2 Module 1 - Interactive Media Design 1 (3hr-session x 10 weeks) |
| To equip students with basic 3D animation utilizing 3D Studio Max. This will also be integrated with basic video and audio editing skills. |

| Term 2 Module 2 - Interactive Media Design 2 (3hr-session x 10 weeks) |
| Students will learn to design functional interface design with efficient information management. Students will use both Macromedia Flash and Dreamweaver, coupled with good visual and design aesthetics to create functional interactive web design to enhance user experience. |

| Specialisation courses |
| The Specialisation course is specially designed for students to continue after the Certificate in Basic Multimedia. To obtain the specialization certificate, students require to complete 60 hours of training in specific subjects. Most of the Specialisation modules are breaks down into 30 hours each (10 sessions of 3 hours each). Should the students take up only one module of 30 hours, he/she will get the result and Certificate of Participation. |

| Course Synopsis : |
| Explore the art of 2D animation techniques and genres. This exploration will cover the basics of storyboarding, digital imaging techniques and the necessary authoring and presentation software. The course will examine the design, creation and integration of text, 2D animation and sound for use in appropriate digital delivery mediums. Students will also learn the basics of scripting and how it can be used to create interaction. Understanding animation types, principles and methodology and apply the concepts learned using industry standard digital tools: Adobe illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia. |
