Six horses representing the six principles by Lim Hak Tai for art education
六匹骏马,代表林学大对美术教育的六项理念

Following on from an exhibition on the First Arts Council, 2011 and the more recent exhibition Situationist Bon Gun in 2013, this exhibition double bill will assemble several installations as critical gestures toward contextual art making through the generations.

The first exhibition will feature 2 large installations titled: Hak Tai’s Bow and Brother’s Pool, an homage to pioneering art principals, Lim Hak Tai and Brother Joseph McNally. The second Our Children is a showcase of works that illustrate Da Wu’s teaching experiences, comprising mostly installation pieces. There will also be performances by Station House da Opera and interactive dialogues for the exhibition. This second showcase will be accompanied by Institute of Southeast Asian Arts’ fourth instalment of Southeast Asian Art Clinic.
