Drama & Speech (Introduction)*

Course is approved for Skills Future Credit Claims. (Only for Singaporean, 25 years old and above.)


The teaching drama and speech - introduction course consists on 1 module with 4 sessions of 2 hours each.

  • Students will be presented a Certificate upon successful completion of short course and passing required assessment.

Teaching Drama and Speech - Introduction (4 sessions x 2 hours)
This course will introduce students to the principles of teaching Drama and Speech to the young where they will impart the understanding of safe work in voice, movement and drama. Students will explore vocal and physical skills at varying levels and learn how to learn how to implement drama games and warm ups in the Speech and Drama classroom.

Applicants must be 17 years old & above.

Prerequisites for Registration of Short Course

  • Applicants need to have at least 3 GCE "O" level credits including English, or equivalent

Course Fee for Teaching Drama and Speech - Introduction is S$260.

Registration Fee (per application) S$32.10
Miscellaneous Fee (fee charged for Student card) S$16

All fees stated include GST & excludes material costs.

80 Bencoolen Street (S) 189655. The student's name, NRIC/Passport number and contact number must be written on the reverse side of the cheque.

Refund of Fees

Withdrawal within 14 days before the commencement date of each short course Course fee will be refunded after deduction of S$107 as administrative charges.
Withdrawal on or after commencement date
No refunds will be given.

Cancellation/ Postponement

  • NAFA reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course without prior notice.
    In the event that the class is unable to proceed due to unforeseen circumstances, NAFA will process a full refund of the course fees.

Withdrawal/ Deferment/ Transfer

  • Withdrawal or deferment requests should be made in writing with supporting relevant documents (if any) to Continuing Education. Request for deferment is subject to approval.
  • No deferment is allowed after the 2nd lesson of each short course.
  • No transfer of course upon registration.

Replacement of Classes

  • There is strictly no replacement lesson should the participant absent himself/herself from the course.

The next intake will commence in July 2017 and enrolment will begin in May.
