Industry Experience

His love for acting started when he joined his secondary school’s drama society and landed the title role in Hamlet for the Singapore Youth Festival 2003. His school won the Gold Medal for the performance and thus sealed his love for acting and drama.

His foray into theatre began with W!ld Rice in Cinderel-Lah! 2003 when he was selected to be part of the chorus. He then joined Buds Youth Theatre in 2004, as well as The Young Company of Singapore Repertory Theatre. He was called back by W!ld Rice to be part of Oi! Sleeping Beauty’s chorus when it was staged in 2005.

He was picked by the National Arts Council to represent Singapore as a dancer in the ASEAN Youth Camp held in Brunei in 2006. That was followed by him selected as one of six student actors to represent NAFA in Short & Sweet Australia. In 2007, he won Vasantham Star (the Indian version of Singapore Idol by Mediacorp), becoming the youngest winner at 19 years old.

The dynamic and passionate theatre practitioner is also the Artistic Director of Ravindran Drama Group Company.
