SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy


The SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy supports and encourages lifelong learning and helps Singaporeans stay responsive to a changing workplace. All NAFA diploma courses and the MOE-funded Bachelor of Music (Hons) course are eligible for the subsidy.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy, diploma and degree students must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Singapore Citizens (SC) aged 40 and above in the year of study
  • Pursuing the first MOE-subsidised full-time diploma or undergraduate degree programmes
  • Student is eligible for and is receiving the base Government subsidy (i.e. Tuition Grant for full-time diploma or undergraduate degree programmes). If a SC student is not eligible for the Tuition Grant or MOE subsidy, he/she will also not qualify for this Enhanced Subsidy.

With the SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy, the following fee adjustments will apply to eligible Singapore Citizen students:

  • Diploma Courses
    Eligible Singaporean diploma students aged 40 and above will pay tuition fees that are 33.33% lower than the standard subsidised tuition fees payable by other Singaporean students who are below 40 years old.

  • Bachelor of Music (Hons)
    Eligible Singaporean degree students aged 40 and above will pay tuition fees that are 60% lower than the standard subsidised tuition fees payable by other Singaporean students who are below 40 years old.

Students are not required to submit an application for the SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy. Students will be charged the appropriate subsidised fees if they are eligible for the enhanced subsidy.
