  • All annual fees are based on 40 credits per year.
  • Eligible Singapore Citizens can use funds in their parent's Central Provident Fund savings and/or funds in their own or siblings' Post Secondary Education Accounts for the payment of tuition fees.

01 Tuition Grant Deed (TGD)
Tuition Grant (TG) is a subsidy from Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE).

1.1  The Academy may offer Tuition Grant to SPR and international applicant with outstanding results during his/her entrance test/audition, subject to availability. Applicants will be informed if they are eligible for Tuition Grant in the Letter of Offer from the Academy.

1.2  SPR and international students who accept the subsidy are required to execute a TGD with the Government of Singapore. Under the terms of the TGD, students are required to work in Singapore for three years upon graduation from their course. The Academy will guide matriculated students with their application for the tuition grant. It is, however, the responsibility of the student to complete execution of the TGD within the deadline set by the MOE.

1.3  SPR and international students who do not complete serving their Tuition Grant bond will be required to pay liquidated damages computed based on the prevailing Tuition Grant received during the course of study plus 10% compound interest per annum.

02 Other Fees (non-refundable and inclusive of 7% GST)
2.1    Fees payable during application:
Application Fee & Entrance Test/Audition Fee for first choice:

English Placement Test Fee: S$30.00

2.2    Fees applicable to admitted students (payable by 16 July 2012):
Administrative Fee:

Hospitalisation Insurance (per year): S$50.00

2.3    Retake and resubmission fees (when applicable):
Retake fee for Diploma courses are as follows:
• The Whole Course Fee (per year)
• The Number of Credits for The Whole Course (per year)
Resubmission fee is $30.00


Fee Protection

Diploma courses offered by NAFA are publicly-funded and therefore all fees are exempted from the Fee Protection Scheme under the EduTrust requirements of the Council for Private Education.

Medical Insurance

NAFA students taking full-time programs are covered by a medical insurance scheme that provides a 24 hours annual coverage of up to S$20,000 per student for hospitalisation and treatments in government and restructured hospitals in Singapore and overseas (if student is involved in school-related activities), throughout the course duration.

Singapore citizens, Permanent Residents or non-Student's Pass international students who are protected by his / her own insurance coverage in Singapore can opt-out from the scheme arranged by the Academy if the preceding condition holds. Student's pass holders are not allowed to opt-out of the insurance scheme.

Students who wish to opt-out from the medical insurance scheme, please submit copy of medical insurance policy together with Student Contract. Please call the Office of Student Care at 65126142 or email studentcare@nafa.edu.sg for enquiries regarding medical insurance claims or application to opt-out from the medical insurance scheme.

The Academy reserves the right to alter the rules & regulations, course contents, class schedule and fee structures without prior notice.
