Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) Library, with financial support from our benefactor, Tanoto Foundation, started establishing the Tanoto Foundation Centre for Southeast Asian Arts in April 2007, with the vision to become a regional resource centre for the study and research of Southeast Asian arts. Its mission is to promote Southeast Asian arts via the establishment of a physical resource centre as well as facilitating access to a digital web-based resource. The Centre's objectives are to collect a set of valuable SEA arts resources to complement and support NAFA's course curriculum and meet the information needs of students and staff; to provide access to SEA arts resources for regional Artists, Performers & Designers to aid them in their life-long learning and to provide opportunities for the publication of research in journals related to area of SEA arts.
